These spaces tell of the coexistence among the different populations that contributed to the growth of the Frederician city. The City of Altamura links the medieval rebirth of the city to the figure of Frederick II, to the construction of the Cathedral and to the arrival of different communities in the districts organised around the claustri.<\/p>\n<p>The monumental heart of the itinerary is the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, one of the symbols of the city.
